if this was done you have 2.5 gig instaed of the 500 meg i got now (usb broken but might try to fix it now seen the photo )internal for app and some then can be moved to the sdcard say 32 gig when runing out of app space like on my phone and tablet that seems much better

Yes this can be done but for sure would be a totally custom ROM that not everyone would want.

I might do this just to see interest.

What I think he is asking is in my ROM "flashed the hard way", I changed the APP space memory from 500 megs to 1GB. I can continue to enlarge that to use all available internal NAND. Then remove the mount of sdcard and change sdcard to point to the external sdcard. So you would now have a internal sdcard that really is your external sdcard! Anything that wants to write to sdcard it would use external sdcard. There WOULD BE NO external sdcard mount and it would be as if you did not have one inserted.

Now the problem with doing this is YOU MUST HAVE A EXTERNAL SDCARD period! If you remove it you would have NO sdcard(s) and the system would not not work at all! So this ROM would be ONLY for people that have a external sdcard ALWAYS.

I think it would be better and safer to just allocate all the left over space to the userdata instead so it will act like an internal storage and let the microsd card be the external sdcard.

a lot of apps sees the nand storage as the sd card and it's very limiting especially to large data files.

maybe that could be added to the next build

I've got Cwm recovery, so the easy way to update this will not work i guess?

If you google MK806 there are 2 or 3 sorts of mini pc. Their all got an other chip (A8, A9 and A10). The one I mean is this one:

Sounds like those maybe AllWinner CPU. If so it wont work. We need RockChip RK3066 ROMs.

Bluetooth support on UG802

Hi to all,
maybe I'm asking a stupid question: is it possible to have bluetooth support on UG802?
I have a bt remote (Tivo Slide Remote) with dongle, but i don't find any information about possibility to recognize this or any bt dongle with UG802.
I still have the factory ROM.

Hello all, I'm downloading the rom now.

I have Rikomagics MK802iii. The specs state it uses the same RK3066 that the UG802 uses. It only has one USB port, and is powered by a microUSB cable instead of an AC adapter. Would this rom function on the MK802iii? The default rom is horrendous, and if this rom isn't compatible, I'm going to have to learn to build custom roms in order to be happy with it.

Its running 4.1, its quick, but the play store won't let me install MANY apps, claiming the version doesn't support my device.

If you haven't tested it on the MK802III, I'd be more than happy to give it a shot, I would just need to know how to dump the rom from the device in order to make a backup of it.

thanks for all your work, I bought an MK802 gen 1 a couple weeks ago and was so impressed with the potential of these devices, I had to upgrade.

I can tell you I'm using a Bluetooth Logitech Di Novo Mini ( http://www.logitech.com/it-it/keyboa...ds/dinovo-mini ) with and UG802 modded with Bob's 1.4a Rom (but worked also with 1.4).

My UG802 recognized without problem the BT dongle.

It works very well.

So It looks like the devices are very similar. There were a few confusing specs listed on that website. For instance it says it has a microusb for a charge device, as well as a ac adapter. Maybe I should take it a part, perhaps the differences are only cosmetic.

Would you agree that this rom would work with the MK802III that I have? If you want, I can take some pictures tonight and upload them to show you the differences.
