Movie discs have copy protection that can't be read by Android.
For normal file systems an extra driver needs to be added to the firmware.
But I think only CDROM drives will be able to be read not Blu-ray's.
But it's an interesting idea, maybe Rockchip will be able to develop a driver for Blu-ray reading also.

I have testet backup discs, not original discs. Filesystem on the disc is Iso and UDF.
Android have a Linux Kernel. I think its only a existing modul that we need to access discs

I have version 3.0.3 but can not find screen rotation support. Can that be enabled using the build prop editor or will it be supported in a later version of the firmware?
I am using the BeeLink for other uses, not as a tv box.

This feature is almost always disabled in TV BOX firmware. At least in Lollipop. I use mo123's LP LightBiz OS edition and it doesn't react to Set Orientation application at all.

P.S. Maybe changing "ro.sf.fakerotation=false" to true in /system/build.prop will help.

it was supported in my kikat firmware for r89. The rotation will be supported in my next 3.0.4 release. And the auto frame rate switch will be supported too in next release. So many video players like mxplayer works great, you won't need to change the framerate manually.

I hope tvout will work again with 3.0.4 as it was broken in 3.0.3 but working fine with 3.0.2.

Just info for you, the latest ZDMC 16.x should work fine in my 3.0.4 firmware.

Factory Tool set restore sew 3.0.3
later
FactoryTool set sew 3.0.4 upgrade
And it works.
