lonix just want to report you.... flashed zido v6, changed audio output to spdif, and like with csa 0 stuttering and freezing. Well done Sir, well done

if I Change the audio to "spdif," i got the stuttering back....
but when I Change back to "pcm" it work great for me! not stuttering !!!

uhhh, v5 and tamed kernel don't work for me...
first i need to go to recovery cause overclocked freeze mi box, then when installed tamed kernel black screen without arriving to bootimage... then i when to recovery manually and tried several times adding tamed kernel and tronsmart kernel...nothing happends, always stay on black screen

now i'm bricked...

Dear Folks,

I follow these posts for a while, and I thank you for all the arduous job that you did to make this Tronsmart stuff usable.
Although I did not try all the previous configurations that you published, but collected my experiences with the "original" 205L1203, Wasser 3.1.2 and Ionix's Tronzid V4 (overclocked) ROMs on my Tronsmart R68 Gigabit Meta box.
Actually, I had problems with all of the aboves, but the problems were different with each of them. One of my main problem was the Dolby Digital/DTS passthough for the optical output: either the sound was fading in every 4 sec, or the voice was gruff, i.e. "transposed" to below the original.
I also suffered from frequent hang-ups of the sound when watching online movie contents. I found that all those KODIs that change the monitor refresh rate as well as the screen resolution automatically, produced the gruff sound from the compresed audio source. Sound via HDMI I couldn't test, unfortunately.
When installing a new KODI to test, I always replace the librkffplayer.so together with the KODI apk, otherwise nothing works properly. I extracted them from the ROM images, and installed with TWRP.
Btw.: I love this TWRP, especially if flashable updates are available, as the installed programs as well as the data sections remain intact! Special thaks to Ionix for these uploads!!!
Due to the above experiences, it seems, I must be satisfied with the slightly "jumpy" playback of the 30pfs videos -my refresh rate is fixed to 50fps- if I want smooth sound reproduction.
My far the best configuration ever - by today, which conforms to the aboves - is TronZid V4, with the KODI+librkffplayer that I extracted from the 205L1203 'original' ROM by Tronsmart (based on 15.2RC1). It runs very fast, produces smooth AC3/DTS sound, no stutter neither on local nor online videos.
I don't use HDMI-CEC, however, which function is not supported by this configuration. Later V5 and V6 releases I did not try yet.
I hope, my experiences help you too, and finally, all problems can be eliminated!

Ok sorry about that, I have tested this myself and it appears that the v4 kernels are incompatible with v5 and v6

Please use this standard kernel instead

to unbrick you will need to re flash using factory tool.

Unzip to USB stick

Flash the v3 or v4 rom

then

reboot to TWRP then select install
Then select image(bottom right)

Then select boot.img and then select the boot partition
Then do the same for resource.img, to resource partition

WIFI and BT OK !

With v1 to v5, Same issue for me., no wifi/bt.

With TronZid-StockKernel.zip, wifi OK, but no BT

I have the dmesg from tronsmart ROM, if it can help you !

I built this kernel with ap6330 set as wifi and set in device tree also please test it, flash with TWRP on v6
