    Hi everybody,

I have a new X92 box and I tried to install the ugoos am3 firmware from Logic. After installation was successfully, the box didn’t reboot automatically like Logic said ind his “how to”, so the box goes back to the recovery menu and I reboot it manually. Unfortunately the box won’t boot any more, the front display stays off. I tried to get the box again in recovery mode but no reaction while pushing the rest button and powering on the box.
have somebody an idea how can I solve this issue?

    Thanks in advance

Note: Issue has been solved with USB Burn Tool

Hi. All the firmwares belong to https://4pda.ru. I have tried them and they can change to English language (I am not sure about Chinese language).
About the wifi, I think you have hardware problems. I recommend you try the wifi operation near the router, if you continue to have problems, your hardware is the problem. The only thing you can do is connect via network cable or :

        https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...antenna+RT5370

I have tried the software in the tv box and I have no problems with the wifi, this can be on all day and there are no problems.

Maybe you can find an alternative solution in the forums 4pda.ru use the google browser and translate the page

        Thanks Satacada,

Thanks for your advice and suggestion. Regarding to the antenna you suggest I get. I actually got one similar, a usb wifi receiver stuff. I can use it on my desktop to get wifi access. however, it does not work with the tv box. I guess maybe the android system can't use usb wifi receiver because there is no driver for it on the android system?.. so.. are you sure the antenna in the link would help~?

        Regards,
        William

Hi HAOOFE, I only suggested the wifi antenna but I have reviewed and I do not see any case that has been used for tv box, sorry for that suggestion.

              Hi Satacada,

              thanks for your replies~~.

I think i have find a solution some how.., a AP with client mode will help.

Just letting the other know that, a tp-link TL-wr802n will help. It will receive the wifi signal from the router and tranfer the internet into Ethernet to the tv box.

              Regards,
              William

I see they sell s912 x92 boxes with android 7.1. Will anyone have an update for the 3gb/16gb to android 7.1? I've had mine for over a year if that helps. Edit: Nevermind, it's in a previous post.

With Android version 7.1.2 installed on the X92 3/16GB, has anyone managed to get auto frame rate to work (automatic switching between 24Hz, 50Hz & 60Hz)? It worked well with Android 6.0.1 with the Auto Frame Rate apk installed. I may go back to 6.0.1.

SteveC, which one did you try? Looks like there's two of them.

I tried 1) Official, and 2) Rikomagic. I couldn't get auto frame rate to work with either. What I did get with these Android 7.1.2 versions (which I did not get with 6.0.1) was 7.1 HD audio when playing Blu-ray over the network. I've another device that will play my Blu-rays perfectly, so I may go back to Android 6.0.1 for the X92.

Thanks, the lack of auto refresh rate would be a deal breaker with me too. I assume you tried to enable it in the settings? I was excited about an update but not if I can't watch sports and other stuff without playback issues.

Yes, I spent quite a lot of time adjusting the settings and rebooting the X92. Nothing seems to work as far as auto frame rate is concerned. I was hoping that someone may suggest something I've missed but I've no idea what that could be - unless someone has a working Auto Frame Rate Fix apk for Android 7.1.2. The original apk on this site does not work with 7.1.2. It may well be my imagination, but the image quality with 7.1.2 does not appear quite as good as I recall with 6.0.1...

I have tested all of the android 7.1.2 roms posted recently and had no luck. one wouldn't recognize my external storage, one had horrible playback/ auto refresh rate problems, the tx8 worked but didn't have the play store. I finally found one that works very well and has a nice interface! http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showt...#entry65967731

Does this firmware do auto frame rate with all apps/media players or just Kodi/SPMC? Do you find that the picture quality is as good as with Android 6.0.1? During my relatively brief testing with 7.1.2, I thought 6.0.1 had better picture quality, but I suppose it could have just been the particular streams I was looking at at the time. I've gone back to 6.0.1 and I was going to stick with that - until I saw your post.

So far so good. Netflix and kodi all seem fine. Even streaming through the chrome browser still looked good. I ran into the same issues you had as well testing the other firmware. I'll test more today. The only negative which doesn't bother me, is the display doesn't light up with the time.
