so by losing LED control and display, you mean it will be empty (turned off) ? or will behave randomly (random colors and numbers displaying) ?
    Thanks
You will lose remote control functionality and that includes controlling the leds (my t95z plus has a button on the remote) and losing the display as well... To turn the unit off either use an app or just unplug the box from the power, plug it back in to turn on.

Interesting so you will have to get a replacement controller (a keyboard or air mouse) and figure out a way to power up the box. It's not that bad actually thats how I use my boxes anyway (a QWERY keyboard with gyro mouse and keeping them on 24/7, as long as the CPU scheduler is set to Auto, it will tune down when not under load and there will be no risk of overheating).

Any way to check that scheduler on the t95z plus?

          Check "AnTuTu CPU Master"

I just pick up the box was wondering would you create a android tv stock version for this one too?

Dunno if i will do it... this box have 3 different wifi/bt chips and im not going to support them all!

Oh okay, thanks, I've gotten the Plus version the one you recommended from gearbest.

Its understandable, I think people interested should consider "sponsoring" a build on a "fund me" page or something.
side note: the issue is with the pre-built kernels right ? I mean if it was being built from source code then supporting different wifi/bt should be done transparently.

Yes it have problems with my kernel, i mean display and led since they use a custom kernel source with that 2 drivers!
Wifi and Bt is a pain since you cant support all in 1 rom... its impossible to do that!
And since they change wifi chips like we change underwear...its a pain on support i mean making custom roms!!

I think people need to be a little realistic when going 3rd party/community for firmware support, expecting everything to work when manufacturers shares nothing of their source code is a little bit far stretched.

Things like getting remote, clock display, power/standby led lights should be considered icing on the cake.

Sorry my "ROM kitchen" skills are a little rusty, but didn't it use to be the case that these variable hardware (wifi/bt) is compiled as an external module to the kernel that is pulled when needed at runtime (assuming kernel is being built from source) ? I mean thats how manufacturers provide "backward" compatible firmware updates without the need to maintain a separate firmware release line for each minor hardware change they do.

I'm sorry guys, I really appreciate the time and hard work you did for us just thought would it be possible but didn't want to bother you. I guess I have to wait or get a different box.

Well.. is not that easy, ex: 9377 wifi chip it need its own kernel and that kernel even if you load the ampack/bcm driver it wont work and it also need changes on the boot and on the .so etc etc... and vice/versa, the realtek one same thing you will get the wifi to work on a ampack/bcm kernel but not the bt and that one to make the bt work its even more complicated since it all done in the kernel and you need the support of the framework to accommodate that changes.
What i mean with this... spaghetti time anyone?!?

Ouch, trying to tackle this in a different way:
Would you be open to the idea of a "fund me" project ? you can just set milestones with funding targets relevant to how much work it is to get specific feature worked out (one for getting image up and running, one for wifi/bt working, one with remote working ... etc).

well i wish i had the time for that...
I like to work at my own pace and when i feel like it, with funding it just like you are paying me to do it... and that is a big no no on my book lol, for demanding i have my daily job... i do this for fun, if i lose the fun... that is bad real bad!
i will stick with donations... if anyone wants to donate cool if not.. cool the same (and no i dont get that lot of donations i tell you lol)
Do you know how much a "company" pays for this type of work that i do for free ( and yes i had some asking...) for a simple rom ex: (no kernel) 700$ (with custom kernel) 1000$, with support(ota) 1200$ a month!
So lets say i already rls 13(fixes included) versions of the rom for the GT1... do the math
How much lets say did i get on donations of all this 13 builds(but not all are from the Gt1... i did rls other roms for other devices in the middle of the 13 roms)? 300$... and this is working sometimes until 4/5am... and sleeping 2/3h... and all for fun...(well my wife dont think its all that fun LOL).
But, if someone send me a T95z Plus i will make a Android TV rom for it... now if that will be to all of the T95z Plus variants out there... i cant compromise on that!
Dont take me wrong i really appreciate, but no for now on that matter.
