As for remote I would suggest to use remote.conf file (it can be found in /system/etc/) from SCV4 on SCV7A.

superceleron I recently came upon a site with Android 8.0 Sdk and source code for S912 released by Amlogic. By any chance do you have intentions to release Oreo 8.0 rom for this device?
Would be so cool if you did

So sad
Still, I believe there is no real difference between Android N and O, at least not for TV Boxes...
And if someone want's Oreo look than there is Xposed module called Android O-ify. And P-ify is on it's way (for now only for Oreo 8.1).ALFAWISE H96 Pro+ 3/32 (S32-V6) | 7.1.2 | SCV7A | OC kernel | TWRP 3.1.1-0 | 64GB

And more safe, true.
However I don't think most people would use sound systems with good enough quality for Nougat. And I believe that sound enhancements brought by Oreo are mostly for Bluetooth sound - Sony LDAC, new codecs (which break connections phone<->car). Nothing important for TV Box's users, coz who uses Bluetooth sound system connected straight to the Box, not the TV, home cinema or any other sound system?ALFAWISE H96 Pro+ 3/32 (S32-V6) | 7.1.2 | SCV7A | OC kernel | TWRP 3.1.1-0 | 64GB

superceleron , In the next update would it be possible to implement bordered subtitles support in the video player? The FTMC is good but sometimes we just want to open a faster player and watch the movie, and the FTMC does not properly support bluetooth audio.

Hi,
have this box from gearbest (green pcb) and installed SCV4
Since the beginning (also without custom ROM) have the box stucked on the logo at the boot after 4-5 usage. I hoped to solve it by installing a new ROM but the problem is not fixed.
Only a factory reset can let the box work properly but after 4-5 usage it again get stucked on the boot logo.
How can i solve it? It doesn't seem to be a firmware problem...
