I will wait, maybe superceleron will includeour version in his plans.
Or I just will look/wait for working stock, a way to flash what is available already or other way to have "safe harbor" (backup of stock, TWRP with a way to boot it without working Rom) and than will look for a way to Root it.

Mine from Gearbest look like this (ordered Nov 10th) . So green PCB ... (H96 pro +) ZH-01-S912-TVBOX-V.3.0, 8 memory blocks, Wisdom firmware

14 days later and got Blue S32-V6...

Think Wisdom as it's firmware is working on Wisdom with green PCB, but have to look into it.

Ok. So no matter what happen I want to flash this Rom.

I have .img, OTA zip and USB Burning Tool.

However when I connect the Box to the PC and click Refresh button, there are no devices listed...

EDIT1: Got it to show some HUB 3_something device. Is it right?

What should I set below Configuration?

EDIT2: Unfortunatelly got error when erasing bootloader. So it seems that S32-V6 is Wisdom one or even completely different.

Didn't have time to edit it for the 3rd time - flashed it fine, just was too stupid at the beginning to thin. Good that I know how to think, so I thought that it have to be booted into some kind of flash mode. And that can be accessed using reset button

Now I can confirm that both SCV1 and SVC4A works fine on S32-V6 (LPDDR3) - built date 2017-09-05. It has Blue board like S32-V5.

                    What I did? This:
                    1. Copy update to SD and put it into Box.
                    2. Open .img in USB Burning Tool.
                    3. Connect Box through USB male to male - for me Tool found USB3_something device.
                    4. Push reset button using pin for 5 seconds - Box was found again.
                    5. Click Start button - the flashing should started.
                    6. Connect it to TV.
                    7. Boot it and set account, WiFi, time zone, etc.
                    8. Reboot to TWRP - power off and than boot using reset button.
                    9. Flash update.
                    10. Let it boot.
                    11. Reboot to TWRP again.
                    12. Flash MAGISK.
                    13. Boot.
                    That's all.

Didn't have time to test v1 and as it seems that most problems are with 4K resolution I won't have them as my TVs are all FullHD max. However some apps are missing in ATV Play Store - e.g. Solid Explorer...

Hi ch3mn3y , thanks for the detailed instructions, I will try it on the weekend, I don't have male to male USB.
I read the instructions but I still missing something - which image file i'm flashing at step 5 ? and which one on step 9 .
also, did you flash TWRP before starting the process as permanent recovery? because I choose the read only method for the backup

#edit - one more question - should i download the SCV4A OTA or SCV1 BLUE or both?

In step 5 it depends of Your Box version - for Blue board (S32-V5 and S32-V6) you Flash SCV1 BLUE (LPDDR3) PCB IMG. If older - SCV1 GREEN PCB IMG. If You have Wisdom one than You are out of luck and this Rim will brick Your device.

Than in step 9 You flash OTA SCV4A ATV through TWRP, which is automatically flashed with V1.

Hi, i have same device as you "H96 Pro+ 3gb/32gb/Amlogic S912/Android 7.1.1 (No Alfawise logo) from bangood. PCB is blue, with S32-V6 (LPDDR3) 2017-09-05".
Question 1: Which configurarion to select in USB burning Tool? Erase bootloader, Erase flash, Overwrite key...?
Question 2: Can i flash OTA update over USB falsh drive? I don't have SD.
Question 3: Do you have stock firmware to restore device if something went wrong?
Question 4: What is MAGISK? What are the benefits of that? From where i can download it?

                          Thank you.

I have same one, but with Alfawise logo. Board is blue as well, and says S32-V6 2019-09-05.

A1. Normal and Erase Bottloader checked.
A2. Tried but TWRP seem to not see my FAT32 flash drive. You may boot V1, connect drive, copy OTA zip to Box memory and than flash it that way.
A3. Nope. Asked GearBest for one, but they dom't speak English or at least thought I want RMA O_O.
A4. MAGISK is systemless Root/module mod. It lets You to have Root and other mods withou modding the system and breaking SafetyNet. As I dont see a way to pay with Box or play Pokemon Go on it (however You may try spoofing You position) than SafetyNet doesnt matter. But still it's better to use MAGISK than SuperSU, at least I feel that way.

                              Hello Friend,

I need a little help, becouse I cant find info.
I try to flash the SCV1 firmware, but the USB burning tool not recognize the device.

I have a USB 3.0 male2male cable. This is the problem? The notebook not recognizes the box at all, just power is. Cable is definitely OK for file transfer.
Or USB post problem? (I have tried both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports...)

                              Thanks,
                              M.
