    I'm trying to install SCV1. What I did :

    - Burn a SD card with Burn Card Maker (I don't have a male-male USB)
    - Put the SD card in the H96Pro+
    - Push reset and maintain it pushed while plugin the power cord
    - Release the reset button after the Upgradin progess bar has terminated

    At this point,

    - An upgrading progess bar started again and could finish by itself
    - I could briefly see an "Android TV powered by Celeron" splash screen
    - Again a progress bar but it stucked at the very early begining

What am I doing wrong ?

Try flashing with stock rom and then modded, you need to use male male usb for best results.

Thank you Kingmarth. So I just ordered a USB cable and I will do like that. Just one point : once it will be OK with SCV1, how can I do for the OTA SCV4 ? There are 4 img files and not only one...

Scv1 install twrp. Up to scv4 with it.

            Thanks !!! Feedback :

            - SCV1 with USB Burning Tool : I've been afraid at the begining because the flashing process started but stalled at 7%. I tried on another USB port and it worked flawlessly.
            - SCV4 by copying the whole zip file on a micro SD card, then install by TWRP. Dalvik cache reset then reboot. Fine.

            Preliminary tests :

            - Works perfectly with Plex
            - Works perfectly with a HDHomerun (via Live TV as well)

So far so good, thanks !

Not so good finaly : I've initially tested everything with an ethernet connection next to my computer. Then I've tried to put the ATV in place, where it needs Wifi. But I can't setup my network : the password is asked but after I type it, I'm told that the access point could not be found anymore. Any idea ?

If you are using 5G wifi lower you channel to 36 or 56... something like that on your router!

My Access Point is a TP Link WA901ND. It is a basic 11bgn mixed Wifi. I checked : the channel is currently 7 and it cannot go beyond 11 anyway ;(

                      Hi,
Do the box get any power at all? Redlight or Bluelight?
Have you tried to change the poweradapter if its something wrong with it?

Check this thread, especially my experience with the problem.
Hello dear forumers, I see there are some knowledgeable people here, hopefully some light can be shed on my situation. I just got a new H96 Pro+ 3GB/32GB version

Quick question and happy for you to point me elsewhere. How to I work out the version of H96 Pro that I have?
If you were to open your box up, there is a DATE (YY-MM-DD) printed on the PC Board. These boxes go through revisions, kind of like VERSION numbers but the manufacturer uses DATES instead of version numbers. They may stamp a PC Board version # somewhere but I see differences right away because of the dates have been changed.

If you take your box apart, you can determine what kind of memory you have by photographing the Numbers on the CHIPS and looking them up.

For example, in the picture provided by Dynamitis in a subsequent post - looking up the chip on top right "H5007NL" reveals this is a (1-Gigabit) Ethernet Chip. The one Under the Silver Heatsink is usually the CPU.

If you look up the other chips, you'll discover what they are and what they do on this box.

Right above the DATE for the PC Board revision you might see "S32G" "PDDR3" - That would probably be indicating 32G of DDR3 RAM. Beyond that, i'm only guessing. If you actually take apart your box, you might be lucky enough to see a sticker like the top picture that actually says "3G+32G RAM, DDR3"..which tells you all you wanted to know.

If you DON'T want to open your Box - Their may be some software out there to show you this in a faster way, but I don't know any. I have used AIDA64 but my old versions only shows me amount of memory, not the TYPE of memory is in the box.

Look around, and try out all these "diagnostic" apps - you may find one that will tell you if you have DDR3 or DDR4 - Then Let US know which app does this!
