pfornaro, remote works fine (at least navigation buttons, volume, power button the most essentials one that's the only buttons I've tested)

Otherwise, I found a workaround in order to remove upper bar

either with adb
adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.status=*


Or in a terminal type :
settings put global policy_control immersive.status=*

It seems to work fine now.
if you ever need to rollback
adb shell settings put global policy_control null*

Thanks man!!! Anyway I was wondering if the remote works with shut down - power on and not just for standby. Do you confirm that? Again thanks for the status bar tip

1º The status bar... yes i forgot to enable auto hide because as you know SCV3 dint have them, i will fix in SCV4A that im going to rls today!
2º The power on after power off, dunno.. i dont have any problems with that here.
3º chromecast dont talk about it plz... or i will remove it.. sometimes it works other dont is what it is nobody can do nothing about it and mean nobody unless you pay royalties to google!
4º i dont have any ghosting on ftmc, maybe you got a bad encoded file!
5º Apps not showing Menu... like i said that is a problem of the apps itself and not the rom, what that means is they are not prepared to work 100% ok on android tv.

About ghosting it was working well before with same file ( on both normal and atv version now both have problem) also there is blurr effect on moving objects( for e.g sony logo in starting when it zoom toward you it have blurry tail i'll try to show it in pic) in both hardware acceleration and software mode. It is working fine with other players like vlc in software mode( as vlc dont support amcodec).

I will try some other files to see if it is with all or this file in particular.

Here is the same problem in another movie

After the Columbia logo its ghost image is clearly visible on black screen it seems like the image retention problem in old plasma screens. Its in FTMC only and more visible with amcodec but its still there in software mode too but little less.

kk i made some adjustments and looks ok on my side...
I tested with another sony movie 1080p bluray and i dint see any ghosting now on this one.. so if it continues on that one i think is a encode problems!

- How I do root on this device? What is the method using Magisk?
- I need to install an app on this device to configure the wireless gamepad (a control emulator). However it is necessary to access the device through the PC and run a script by adb. Is there any way to run this script without using the PC? The gamepad in question is Mocute 050. I can not get it to work in some games like DuckTales and would need to emulate the commands on the screen. Do you know any app that does this without adb?

Well the diferences in the screen size and how it handles the blacks etc etc.., on my 25 inch ultrawide monitor i dont see any ghost nor on my 19 inc monitor(this is where i test all my roms)

Install magisk the usual way, flash it by twrp.
About the 2º question sorry dunno i dont have that gamepad, but i bet the script it the driver loading!

If USB Burning tool which checkmarks should I enable disable there? And especially, the most important question, after the "success" of flashing should I exit the program and plug off (and so power off) the device or just waiting for the first boot? Thanks in advance.

I find usb method easy but i am using it on rtv s10 box and i heard h96 otg usb port is hidden inside box( not sure ) and you need male to male usb cable.

In USB burning tool check all mark and normal erase option. Your device will automatically unplugged and plugged again 2 times in process once at 1% and once at 4% dont remove the cable. If successful it will disconnect your device with message burn successful then you remove usb cable and plug it to tv with hdmi cable and power adaptor and wait for 1st boot as it can take 5-6 minutes.

Note that burn process can be stopped many times with errors dont stop or close burning tool just unplug your device and plug again holding reset button burning tool automatically detects and start working from start itself.
