1. It doesn't support Chromecast right now.
2. Sleep state, it resets because of low-power design.
3. About it freezes, we have tested and the heat isn't the reason. Please try to restore the factory default settings. And upgrade the firmware as follow:

Strange ? Neither FW freezes for me or anybody else I know of !! Many happy users. Great box, great OEM FW, great upgrade FW by Magendanz.
Worried ? Don't install it. Unconvinced ? Don't buy it.
Pro L Box can have overheating issues - Many solutions in videos and on Freaktab.com
Pro + box if you don't want/need Bluetooth

I have been working with Magendanz and directly with the factory, not sure how that is possible that you have no freezes when all of us do. If it's working so well what is the firmware date, if your temperature is above 55C not a good sign that your CPU is going to last.

I have experienced SOME freezes, but not very often, and I leave my box running 24/7. I am running it as it came from the factory, but with a ton of side loaded apps. It does run quite hot, but have not seen any negative effects from the excessive heat. On the rare occasions, that it did freeze, I could not determine what caused it.

I have another Pro (non "L") that is running LibreELEC. It has been running months non stop as my tvheadend and Emby servers. It just sits on my network as my DVR backend, and just runs.

Overall, this Mecool M8S pro and "L" boxes are my best go to boxes, and I have many.

Good power packs also a must, especially if leaving on 24/7,
Using power strips also can cause issues with loose fittings, cheap is not good.

PX what's the purpose of posting my postings on this forum?! I was the one that got the latest few Firmwares directly from factory so please erase your comments there is no point to it. As I said before when you have thoroughly tested the box and learned why there are flaws then you will understand.

Are you running CPU-Z overlay to monitor the temperature? What are the temperature readings on average? I am at least at 70C in idle when watching a 1080p movie with heavier compression it gets to 80C easily.
I am getting easily 2 freezes a day and I don't shut my box either. Also not sure how you are turning ON/OFF your boxes but CEC HDMI is also not working fyi P.X that is also not working in case you haven't even tested it. So likely if you turn your box on and TV oFF in the morning when you turn the TV ON there is nothing nada on the screen.

These are their generic responses ... Cyrus claims he never ever got a freeze which is impossible considering that most of us running into at least one.

Hello. I have a TB BOX M8S Pro L 3gb ram 32GB rom. I installed the OTA stock rom and everithing works fine for 2 days. Now, the TV BOX is with the blue led always on and it hasnt got image. I readed the post and I saw that it was briked. I try all the solutions posted and dont works! There are a new solution or it will be a new solution in the future or is totally useless vor ever? Thank you!!

You have to open the box and short it in order to get to recovery, it should be able to get there if not then likely your eMMC is fried or something on the chipset (Chinese ISO9001 my ass pardon my french).

I'm running into quite a few random reboots since updating to the latest build. Is there confirmation that there is a flaw with this build? Can't see any mention of issues on Magendanz post of the new release. Is it worth downgrading? I know the issue is not heat related. At first in thought it was Netflix app but it's doing it with other apps during streaming.
