Can anyone please summarise the best combination of ROM (obviously this one) + KERNEL + RECOVERY and General Parameters and tips?

I have been away for quite a while as i have been superbusy, and a month after flashing v2.0.3 with TWRP and OC Kernel, it started to have very weird issues, loads of FC's and a lot of reboots during booting procedures, and many times it wont make it to homescreen without 3-4 reboots (which it does by itself).

Try with the stock kernel (see post #1). If the system remains unstable, I recommend a full reflash. Recovery doesn't play any role here.

how can I update this kernel separately, onto the installed firmware (2.0.3)?

As root in terminal emulator:

flash_image kernel <path_to_kernel_image>

Then reboot.

This functionality depends on the launcher. I'm using Nova which presents the remove option after a long press on the icon.

Try e.g moving the icon over the top (or other edge) of the screen.

Does anyone use the headphone jack on this device with this rom? II can't get any sound to come through them? Ideally I'd like to be able to stream audio through headphone jack and HDMI simultaneously.

Call me crazy, i just did a clean flash twice, and i keep getting the issues. The bootlogo of wasser will restart a few times, sometimes even shut down.

Im doubting on SuperSU, when i get rid of superuser, the issues start to rise

I am getting random encryption on my Minix Neo 7 running the Wasser 2.0.3

It has happened several times, asking for a password on boot up

Until now a reboot has cleared the problem
but a few days ago I was forced to reflash the ROM

Any ideas why this is happening?

I'm running an older version of this ROM and I can no longer install any new application as i get an error that I don't have enough space even though there is plenty of space on the box. Will upgrading to this rom fix that issue?

Please tell my how I can do this ( step by step) and please tell my I'm should install all file (asser firmawre 2.0.3 after this oc-kernels and also stock-kernels??) ?. I have come to the conclusion that my random encryption problems were a precursor to a hardware failure
as the Neo X does not boot at all now.

Having opened it up I see there is a small battery inside, could this be the problem?

I am not sure if I can replace it as the connections are welded, but worth a try I guess.
