Hi, I have dowloaded quick flasher but the program says me that don't find nothing file. I have both files 7z/IMG.
What mistake do I do ?

Have you read on play store how to use the app?... You have to zip the kernel.img and to put the zip in quickflasher folder. Don't forget to use the proper name that have to end with _quickflasher.zip, in your case kernel_quickflasher.zip

Ok, I did what you suggested me. I renamed the file also changed the extension (from 7z to zip). The output program was DONE. I think that the kernel is fine.

One minor problem that I have is in mxplayer. When I access menu with mouse it not stay open if I move cursor, I can use the menu only with the help of keyboard.(select menu with mouse then select action with keyboard) I use a Logitech combo mk270.

I think that the kernel is fine.

You can check it with e.g. the "No-frills CPU control" app. If it shows 1800MHz as the maximum clock frequency, you are using the oc'd kernel.

I started yesterday using KODI (SPMC version 16.2 RK) with the Wasser firmware 2.0.3 (Kitkat), and it was running very well: I was able to stream movies from my NAS (.avi mostly...) with AC3 audio. Setting the " HDMI Bitstream" on the Minix audio settings, and "Enable audio passthrough" in KODI, I was able to send the AC3 track to my ampli-decoder Yamaha 5.1 by HDMI connection, enjoying 5.1 sound (DD and DTS).
Today I've installed the Wasser firmware 3.0.3 (Lollipop), and unfortunately the magic stoped!

First of all, I have some strange random switch-off episodes of the Minix, apparently without any reason. It can happen by surfing internent with Chrome or by playing Kodi... I must push the start button to start-up again (until the next random switch-off...).

About Kodi:
Minix audio set for "HDMI output", no problem with stereo sound tracks of movies and music. A lot of problems with the AC3 audio: by setting "Enable passthrough" on Kodi, I hear bad internittent sounds from my speakers! and the ac3 audio track cannot be processed by my Yamaha (I'm talking about the same movies correctly played with firmware 2.0.3). I tried to install the last Kodi release form Play Store, but no changes. The only way to see movies is disabling the "Enable passthrough" in Kodi, and the sound is good, but stereo only! The Yamaha display indicates "PMC" as audio input, but it was indicating "Dolby Digital" or "DTS" with the previous 2.0.3 firmware and the passthrough enabled (and of course, all the 5.1 speakers were working).

I'm forced to downgrade to 2.0.3 at the moment...
Any advices, about setting maybe, or...

Keep up with the good work. So far so good. Problem with menu on mxplayer the same, overall a good improvement. Can't test audio output other than tv that is OK. Didn't have tested Kodi yet.

Well for those UT2 owners that were wondering this ROM will install! It will also let you install Kodi Krypton 17RC2!

What it won't do (for me anyway):
Ethernet connection seems to drop in/out randomly
Bluetooth seems to need WiFi enabled for it to not lockup the device I also was able to pair it with some headphones, but no audio through them at all.
Sound is working via HDMI but I couldn't get anything from the stereo output. Don't know about passthrough for 5.1 (didn't hook it up to my amp and TV) or via SPDIF.
The UT2's remote is totally non-functional

So...at least I can still use it for Kodi which is all I really wanted but we'll see how that goes as I just installed it and am setting it up right now.

EDIT: Just discovered I flashed V3.03 Well, back to the drawing board for 3.04...tomorrow.

Hi wasser, tested passthrough with 3.0.4 but same result, with kodi16.1 passthrough works but lots of breaks, every few seconds. With FTMC 16.1 Build 17 just noise.
