    flashed with SD rom version

so gave up on PC method and went SD - and it worked a treat! - only two issues are:
Play Store seems still stuck on old china version (can i do an update to correct version?)
Reboot button doesnt work (says it needs root access)

    thank you in advance:

Then go into /data/app and delete it here as well. Finally go into dalvic-cache and delete the cache folder. Then I took the same version and just installed it as a user APP. When I did this, that website and screen does work. You go into APP drawer and click on flash and it opens the stock web browser and that screen (web page) now works.

ivana, I do not know if data can work over the other USB port.... I can try later when I get home from work.

Not sure the question about Ubuntu?

      Bob
i did as you posted but when i go to install it says not compatible

Anybody has checked YouTube HD videos? I have an audio little lag of 0.2-0.5 secs.

          Hiding bar

I researched this topic little bit.
There are apps like HideBar (free demo) or SureLock (free?) or GMD Gestures (5 bukazoids).

Or you can download any free terminal app and !

The following magic line will shut down the bar permanently if executed as root:
          su

          service call activity 79 s16 com.android.systemui

Restarting the bar is pretty simple, drop to a shell and start the service using the “am” command:
          su
          am startservice -n com.android.systemui/.SystemUIService

          Enjoy!

Results: command line did not work for me. SureLock did work. And possibly removing SystemUI.apk from /system/app will be helpful - I haven't tried that.

If you've bought the app, in your case minecraft, with the same account on a different device you can easily install it by going to play store an then to "my apps" in the menu. Then just swipe over to the "all" tab. Here is a list of all the apps you've ever installed or bought with your account. Just find minecraft and install it
              This worked fine. thanks.

(still also wonder if there is a way to just purchase apps directely in the device, instead of through my phone...)

I'm glad to say I have half your problems. (and samyboy89 has a good work around for this one problem)

This is a very cool device. It almost has the same geek factor as the zx81 I had 30 years ago (time flies)

                Warm regards, Hans

                  Flash Player

Firstly, thanks Bob for taking the time to develop this ROM, it's loads better than the pre-installed ROM!

The Play store issue puzzled me for a while, but the workaround on here (getting from All Apps) worked just fine, though would be good to get a UK Play Store permanent fix in the next release.

I've read on here issues with Flash Player, and I followed Bob's guide to removing the system one, which seemed to go ok, and I installed 11.1.115.11 as suggested by someone on here, but it still doesn't work, any ideas?

Looking forward to the Jelly Bean ROM.

Fix on its way for Audio sync issue and Jellybean release

I really hope this is true! Reports of Ugoos working on a presumably firmware audio/video fix and Jellybean for the UG802.

Funny thin happened to me. I was fighting this flash thing, notbecause i need it, but because i wanted it to work :-) i uninstalled, installed rebooted. I did everything i could think of. I always tested in the native browser. Then just for fun i installed Dolphin and turns out the flash worked. Not in the native browser, but it does in Dolphin. Try it.

just in case: to get flash working in standard browser you need to enable plugins in browser settings! ;-)

                                From Android Chrome FAQ:

What version of Flash is supported on Chrome for Android?Chrome for Android will not be supporting Flash. As you may have seen in November, 2011, Adobe announced it has stopped investing in Flash for mobile browsing. Google has long been committed to making the web platform more powerful through open web technologies like HTML5 and is working with Adobe and other partners to further advance the web standard.
