Hi,

I have the box, described here:

as "3/32: (made 09/2017) ZH version Q9377, this time with the designation ZH-01-S912-TVBOX-V.3.0"

I tried to apply the procedure from

to the SCV4 and OTA SCV7A.
that should be possible, right?

but the process gets stuck on Step 5/5: the Upgrading bar proceeds to the right within ~10 seconds and then stops. No further progress, no messages, no reboot, no nothing.

I then unplug the box and power it again, and the standard firmware comes up, unchanged. (at least nothing is broken).

any ideas on what's wrong here?

The way i did was like this, i used the burn card method on the pc, after the card was ready i inserted the card on box push the button and power on keep button pushed untill you see the update bar progress, after reboot and then flash like in twrp recovery

The update from 4 to 7a is done by recovery you boot to recovery Superceleron already updated the recovery on scv4 to twrp so after you successfuly installed scv4 you boot to recovery and flash scv7a directly, do not unzip the file flash it as is, regards

I'm failing on the install of SCAV4 already.


the recovery that's installing the SCAV4 is included in the SCAV4 img, right? I don't have to install a recovery upfront.

Ok. I'll try to see if that works. I've also seen that the issue is also present in the native browser to comes with SCv7a. It seems long press copy paste functionality is present in other apps though.

first id like to thank you for your hard work.

so i first installed scv4 on my H96+ pro and was very impressed with the overall performance and image quality.

after i updated to scv7 i noticed a change in the image quality, 4k, and even the system UI. i saw you did some change to H265 4k.
i tested 4k HDR on sc4 and it was superb. on scv7A not as much.

is there anything can be adjusted. seem like lost some contrast in latest firmware.maybe had to to with kernel change.

How do I force rgb 10bit? It's missing the menu for that. I need it out else i have issues with green screen on my TV.
