Because this ROM removed the dodgy security risk root.. Anyone who reads the first post knows how easy it is to add safe root.

Maybe some can't read? who knows!

                Hi Guys,

Sorry for a noob question, but I wanted to try this Rom on my GT1 S912 series box.

Since I don't have a USB Male to Male cable, I downloaded the Burncard maker and v10.4 of this ROM - created the SDcard using tool - rebooted into recovery (using Toothpick method) but then I am stuck as recovery isn't picking up anything. I tried installing update over EXT method. there are 3 files in SDCard -
                1. aml_sdc_burn.ini
                2. aml_sdc_burn.UBOOT
                3. MULTI_Z6BASED_ATV10.4.img

Can you please help me with where I am going wrong? I went through quite a few pages, but seem to get lost.

PS: I am currently on Android 6 and cant seem to update to v7 as of now as the links are dead - i read it somewhere that Tillaz was incorporating the original 7.x.x image in his version so that people don't brick their devices.

                Any help/tutorial/guide would be helpful.

                  hello

after having created his 3 files on the sd, you insert it in the box after having extinguished it, you disconnect the food you support with a trombone on the reset at the back of the GT1 then you reconnect the power all keeping reset pressed .... in android view and dotted you release the reset button.
                  here is

If your box is 706D0 its locked to 2GB RAM all others work with 3GB

Tillaz87, i noticed in some older threads, you have a Z95X 6.0.1 version. I am on my 3rd attempt to obtain a box, this one is a 7.1.2 box with 2GB/16GB, which is very close in memory size to my Note 8.0 tablet, which happens to be my media device to miracast to my tv. Oddly enough, the Z95X has 3 different wifi chip configurations on its builds. I am guessing I may end up with the AP6377, but that's if I get the box. Wondering, if you have tried your firmware on the Z95X you have tested long ago, as for making improvements over It's original build firmware?
