I have to turn it off on my Samsung tv it's seriously annoying the way it auto switches across inputs when they turn on or reboot

In my tv settings it's called 'anyconect" I think
10.6 has new CEC settings maybe they work better

The kernel has stuff broke in 10.5 as its in sync with latest z6 firmware. I plan to roll back to the kernel 10.4 uses for now.

That is called motion flow aka true motion flow and other brands own names.

I have all HDMI set to "game mode" so that is all disabled and anything left over I also turn off as I really don't like the ghosting it causes and input lag in games. input lag reduces from 230ms to 16ms in game mode as most post processing is disabled.

24fps clips play perfect from kodi for me though without any auto switching on the box..
Even though my output on TV always says UHD 3840x2160 60p UHD color.

I don't know why but it is sooth on this tv maybe its part of the upscaling to 4k or game mode no idea..

Yeah game mode disables auto motion plus which I believe it's the Samsung brand. I don't like the motion thing so I have it disabled also, but I notice some judder when I'm playing a 24p source material at some scenes on movies that's why I like the auto switch. I know that you could fix it by manually setting at 24hz on settings but not all movies and TV shows are 24fps that's why I wanted the auto switch. I have a Plex server and checking each file and setting manually the hz each time would be a pain. I'm on the super Celeron ROM which has that but I don't really like it, it's buggy and crashes some times. I will install again your rom again and try that fix that @JoseM told here to check if it works.

Ah, game mode... another option. If some TVs don't have game mode, is PC mode. Which is on my tv. Sorry if I seemed vague into details about modes , but I did try my best to point out how tv modes and settings can effect video playback in a generalist manner. I wanted to explain where to look for peeps who may not have the same modes and settings I have. As í already did that with PC mode in my first reply and nobody outside of tillaz87 understood.

Its not switching back to 60fps after exiting video, So will have to look at that when i'm back..

• Add some library permissions
