Good question; I have just received the GT1 ultimate with the last F/W and the serial is AX12 xxxxx.

I see so many posts that say this H/W is very sensitive to bricking that I definitively do not know which ROM I have to use to have android TV
Please help

I did not test the ROM of this thread but I tested the Megadanz then the Superceleron one
I used both methods USB and SD-card without any issue

My AX12 version survived !

I think shutdown prompt appears after the TV-box wakes up from the sleep mode with the standard remote

Hi,
I updated this rom directly from 704NO stock rom my AX12 without any trouble.

All the bugs I could have with the stock rom (Light home, Youtube, freeze...) are solved with this rom.

From the update (2 or 3 weeks) It works like a charm.

Really thank you tillaz87 to enable us to use a sucking device (GT1 Ultimate AX12) as it should normally run!


PS: Maybe I can describe a bug I encoutered when I updated it from stock rom for other people.
When I launched the update, after a while, the device stuck with Google animation.
I beleive the device was running and I let it for all night long.
When I woke up, it was still on the animation. I shut off the power supply and connected it again and that's all! All is running still this day!

My Ax12 is using a AP 6255 to. Flashing trough USB/SD no Problem, I think I flashed about every ROM from Freak Tab.
By flashing trough Burn Card Maker you can easily downgrade.
IN this ROM for me, Nedflix working (Installed the version from one of the posts), KODI working, just no 3D at all (as with every ROM I found)
It is connecting with my GameSir.

I really hope Beelink brings a ROM where is problem is solved.

Answer to my question : some app dont work properly if you dont install supersu after instaling Android TV ( like molotov TV)

Yes a GT1, just to be more precise HDMI CEC is configured for On and Off:
- To switch off Box and TV I use Off from the TV (then the GT1 moved to sleep: Led switch off)
- To switch on Box and TV I use On from the Box (GT1 led switch on the then TV switch on) - At that time I got the issue with Power menu prompt

I have problem with this firmware, very long booting time over one hour... YouTube app after uptade back to normal version. I have gt1 ultimate.

After test i have two little problems with Android tv

1st: sometime the box dont boot ( stay on Android boot screen) i have to unplug it to restart
2 : in kodi some movie starts with a black screen (1080 p but not all) and i have to fast forward and the picture come

Main reason is because the root method beelink include in stock rom is dangerous. it has no app to handle root access meaning any rouge app could do things without you knowing
also if you just install superSU.apk and try to update the binary it will soft brick, so flashing the zip is highly recommended.

I cant just remove their root method ether as the install needs root to run, so its down to the user

first boot should be no longer than 10 mins, I would recommend factory reset. script might of been cut short at the end.

The Youtube app is intentionally not updated, this means people who hate the new youtube are not stuck with it, people who want it updated can update

I would recommend factory reset. been running this for a while not had ether of those issues.

miracast is not supported in android tv by default, you would need to side load an app like these https://play.google.com/store/search...=apps&hl=en_GB

same for BT transfer. although its much faster to send files using wifi with es file explorer this is how i transfer files its 20x faster

You can actually also use the share option to send via Bluetooth with es file explorer aswell
