I am on my 3rd attempt to obtain a box, this one is a 7.1.2 box with 2GB/16GB, which is very close in memory size to my Note 8.0 tablet, which happens to be my media device to miracast to my tv. Oddly enough, the Z95X has 3 different wifi chip configurations on its builds. I am guessing I may end up with the AP6377, but that's if I get the box. Wondering, if you have tried your firmware on the Z95X you have tested long ago, as for making improvements over It's original build firmware?
Not me, this is the first I've heard of Z95X. The GT1 is only china box I personally owned, I did briefly have the Mecool M8S PRO L but that was for a friend
the only reason I got this box was out of curiosity as to what it could be made to do and in comparison to the shield TV that I gave away.
these boxes surprised me, but i'm waiting to go back to the shield once its sent out.. and have a device that I don't work on.

I tried to search Z95X to see specs but can't find anything can you link me to it? it would need to be s912 with 201 board to work.

Cripes! I donno what happened, but I guess I have one too many box names bouncing about in my head. That Z95X is not my choice nor will work as it is 905 based.

T95Z Plus is the box... it is an S912 box with either the AP6330 (6.0.1) AP6377 (7.1) 3GB or late 2GB, and the AP6255 being early 2017 boxes. Though I can be wrong as it is a hit and miss with reviews. Basically a Beelink GT1 type box in Octagon configuration with cool multicoloured LED boot up bar with clock display.

my first choice was a X92 pro box, as it had some unpopulated interesting hardware options on the main board. One is the possibility of dual antennas for changing the AP6255 chip out with an AP6356 ( 2x2). As the board has traces and solder pads for another antenna on the pin not used on other AP chips. Seems hat all AP chips have the same pinouts, just the pins are enabled or disabled for their functions. Just have to mess with extracting wifi drivers and recompiling them if possible, from Y8 box, with such a chip on 7.1. The Y8 is a rockchip box. So far no S912 or S905 box has the AP6356 wifi chip.

Ok - I figured out the issue. My SDcard wasn't formatted as Fat32 Once done, I was able to install your update smoothly directly from 6.x.x to 7.0.2

I ve installed this ROM on my GT1 Standard , works fine , but I don't know why, on roms based on Android 7.1 I always have sound issues. Imagine the sound a speaker makes when you have a microphone conected and start hitting the mic with the palm of your hand (best example I could find lol) . It's really very annoying. When I use roms based on Android 6 doesn't happen.

Anybody had this kind of issue before? If so is there a way to fix this. I have a soundbar , (cheap one) but happens also with TV speakers.

BTW. great work tillaz87 on your rom.

In earlier versions there was a setting for power button, what it should do. In the latest I cannot find this setting.

I removed it since the power button can do it all long hold or press

I used short press for turning it fully off. Now I net to long press and chose turn off. I will get used to it. Thx for the answer.

For those who can't flash the rom with your usb cable, just cut the USB cable and make it short, like 20cm max. It will work for sure.
The problem with those USB cables is the length they have, you must use a USB cable short enough to be able to pass the correct voltage and data without losing power.
