Did you use the Tanix TX9 PRO or the Vorke Z6 Plus? As it seems the firmware was made for those two products in mind?

Do you have a soltuion to boot in recovery mode without the reset button. I tried lot of times but without sucess I pretty sure in my box it doesn't have the reset button from of the hole

I know it is not recommended that I am razendoz mainly because the help I give you here will (or will not) help others. But would you have another form of contact that is more direct? What is your native language?

I was using an ATV ROM based on Shiningworth All-in-One firmware that the Magendans built for us in February. But I think so much does the base as long as your device has q201 bootloader, as is the case with the M8S Pro, Vorke Z7, Tanix TX92 and etc.

You do not need to enter recovery mode, everything you need to do firmware flash Stock Firmware. From the beginning Magendanz told me that once in the ATV firmware it would not be possible to return to the stock by means of the recovery using Firmware ZIP or IMG.

Once I know this I tried many times to pass the firmware through the PC but without success because this Box works differently, and needs to do a short somewhere. Then I tried to pass the fimware with the methodology SD Burn Card Maker and it worked.

I am not against anyone to use the method of PC but with me never worked, for who knows is easier. As I am without PC whenever I need to borrow some just to change the firmware of the memory card. The rest is on the same card.

Wasn't able to get the USB burning tool to work on my Windows 10 computer.

The program kept on disconnecting the device and not continue after 4%.

I had to do the following:
- hold reset button.
- connect device with the male-male USB cable between USB port closest to the power cable and computer.

(USB 3 on computer appeared to work better. (My USB ports come in pairs, and for some reason I had to connect something in the other USB 3 port for it to be detected/connected))

- Plug in the AC cable to the box! (Will prevent the tv box from disconnecting due to power loss, which gave me the error message)
- loaded the image file
- started the flashing process.

its possible that my motherboard it set to turn off USB voltage in some sort of energy preserving settting in the bios. So I needed the AC plugged into the TV box as well.

even with the 10.7 ROM it still gives me an error message, ugh.. guess I gotta call HBO and find out more on the matter..

Did you enable Root? If it's nothing about Root then it might be a problem with your subscription or connection, broadband or dns.

I'm glad you managed to save your device of a hard brick, I actually rely more on flash from MicroSD than PC. But you will always have a risk.

I did go ahead and enable root as you suggested to no avail.. The HBO NOW keeps on restarting.

I am able to use HBO NOW on my computer windows 10 and on my old android v.5 tv box.

I even installed the hbo now app on my iPhone just to test whether it's related to limits in devices, but still no problem.

Anyone else with a TV box m8s pro(regular) that has nexus ROM or ATV 10.7 ROM that has experienced something similar with HBO keep restarting?

Hi, just received my M8S pro yesterday and installed this ROM. It's running great so far. Netflix HD working with Widevine Lvl1 certification. Will report again. Thank you very much Guest


edit: found a problem, i have a wireless keyboard with a german layout. No matter which settings I try, the input in the text fields remains in English language. Any help? I need umlauts and of course y and z are permuted..

I could adjust it if I understood your problem better, but I think by text I will not understand due to translation limitations.

If possible send me some screenshots so I can understand.
