Is that the same boot.img that you've shared quite a while ago?
The batch tool will perform a low level format anyway upon a "Restore". For me it was a habit to do it separately twice before the actual flashing ... just to be on the safe side.

All boot images I have modified are version-specific. My last one is for v2.0.3, which won't work with v3 series of ROMs. Since I no longer own an X7, I probably won't be making any new ones anymore. Time permitting, I could write instructions on how to DIY.

You don't. You need "RKDevelopTool v1.37" for that.

Can I use Rom Flash Tool 21 for that?
Can you give me link of RKDevelop Tool v1.37?
            Thanks.

Never tried RomFlashTool. The easiest way to get RKDevelopTool is to download a Finless ROM and extract the installer from there. Check e.g. the first post on the neighboring thread for "Finless v1.9".

                      Thanks.
Firstly thanks wasser, your lolllipop 5.1.1 it´s working great on Minix Neo X7 - OC'ed kernel; now I can run kodi 17.1 on my Neo X7, xposed 3.1.1 working great too with the extra modules; just missing yet a custom recovery for this OS on the X7, but not required at the moment.

There is as well "AndroidTool v2.35" is a small app that weight 7.5 Mb; works fine here, I had flashed the OC kernel with this and is working great (you can verify using non-frill cpu app" and youc an see the frequencies going up to 1800 Mhz). You have to check the kernel line and select the path with the correct OC kernel file), untick all of the ohter line and hit "run". The kernel is being falshe to the address 0x0000E000.
Use google with these words "AndroidTool v2.35", sure you will find a couple of links.

Someone wrote that Abdul's TWRP-2.8.5.0 for RockChip devices doesn't work with Lollipop.
