NEW - Lollipop - wasser firmware 3.0.6 for Minix Neo X7

Love the rom

currently loving this rom. Boot is very fast and everything seems to be working OK. I haven't had any of the random reboots that are present in the 10b official firmware. System is much snapper than using quickshot. One problem I've encountered is that the blue power light doesn't work when using this rom. The on screen keyboard doesn't work in xbmc with the stock remote. The minix version of xbmc doesn't work I'm guessing because of a modified build.prop. I'm currently running the minix version of spmc, which works fine. I'm not able to get sound through my hdmi cable and have to use my audio out. 5.1 sound will not work in xbmc with this firmware. There is no working passthrough.

A wish I have is for a autohide function on the system bar. One that is only present when the system is on the home menu. This is working in the 10b firmware but doesn't work properly in quickshot. Once xbmc gotham becomes my everyday streamer this won't be needed because of it's compatibility with immersion mode.

0) make sure you're already on Wasser's 4.4.2 (i've tried upgrading successfully from .94). Make a nandroid backup just in case things go wrong.
1) You'll need to unpack the img file. For Linux, follow this; for Windows, follow this.
2) Download the cwm-img-installer.zip from this thread
3) add the boot.img, kernel.img and system.img into cwm-img-installer.zip
4) copy this file to /sdcard/ on MINIX
5) flash using CWM and restart. you should be upgraded with your data partition and settings intact.

Sounds like a dirty flash whixh is more likely to cause ransom bugs and instability. I think Titanium is the safer option

I use gravity box, the pie control feature to hide Navy bar, semi immersive mode. I also posted somewhere else in this thread a build.prop edit to permanently hide have bar. You'll need to additionally remove the new Google launcher as it interferes with pie controls. Don't uninstall Google launcher until you have installed a replacement launcher. I use nova because I think its the best! Yes its paid but good apps usually are

One bug I'm having is Netflix playback. Netflixs will only stay in very low resolution, the same quality level as when a stream starts. The quality will not improve as it should.

Is there a chance you could research how Minix disabled hdmi detection in their latest 10b rom and then implement in your kit kat rom? Many app including Verizon fios, Comcast tv, showtime, etc wont play on your rom due to hdmi output detection. Minix just solved this issue on their latest rom.

Search was crashing and unstable on newest update until I flashed new gaps. I ended up downloaded nova launcher but I can understand wwhy you wouldn't want it stock . it would be nice to be able to customize the bottom home row icons as I really only want back ,home and recent apps to show up. Silky smooth but Google play music all access does NOT work properly and it did work properly on the first version of this ROM(not the second or third) it will play thefirst song tthen the next song will play in total silence or give the error "could not play stream requested".

the mini has different hardware, so it won't work correctly, for example wifi

how to you add the overclock kernals to this its all an img file and doesnt look the way the finless and quickshot do

Stock 006 had no issues with bypassing hdmi check. I think it started sufacing as a problem in 007-009 stock. Minix researched it, acknowledged it and fixed it in 10b beta just released. That latest version now can play apps that check for and disallow hdmi put like Showtime, abc, verzon fios, Comcast tv, etc.

when mnix researched it, they found it was more than the hdmi state flag, and was something else they did after 006
