Are you going to do an option that creates just one large partition since there is an external SD slot? I will gladly test the crap out of that one! Lol

The stock update was decent... I didn't do much to it beyond enabling additional features.

Change the /data /sdcard sizes, install your favorite apps and some xposed modules at it should serve well.

Data partition seems to be the same size as before, is this correct?

Also when I powered down last night, the first power down didn't work and it basically rebooted. The second power down attempt worked. I powered it up just now and immediately powered down to see if it'll happen again, but everything worked fine this time. Not sure what to make of that, maybe it's just the first power down after flashing the ROM and then doing a factory rest that's an issue. Any other testers have this happen?

It should fix itself if you do a factory reset and select to erase sd card.

Love what you're doing man. Bought this tab about 5 days ago, and thought I was at a loss cause it had 4.4.2 applied already. I tried all types of rooting, with no results. Plus main website took down 4.2.2 ROM. Glad I stumbled upon this thread, was about to return it. Keep doing what you're doing, we all appreciate your work!

I have not yet attempted to move the entire internal SD card space to /data and use the external card as the primary and only SD card... however, when I get around to testing it, if it works, I'll release a patch to provide this option.

The ROM uses the stock /data and /sdcard configuration from the official update. I'll release patches to change the sizes later...

Don't know about the power down issue... I experienced something similar at one point but it happened EVERY time I tried to shutdown unless I forced shutdown by holding the button... has never happened on the current ROM version at all... the only clue I can offer is that it happens when something causes the shutdown process to abort early.

Probably not far... but I'm not going to return to working on it until after I get some additional ROMs out with different /data and /sdcard sizes.

TWRP might be coming in two phases...

A standard TWRP compilation won't be able to flash rkimages, which means the only way to flash the current ROMs will be using the PC rkflash tools after TWRP is installed...

I hope to eventually release a version of TWRP that does support rkimage packages, but I don't know how long that might take.

Hmm is there a way for you to look at OMA version ROM to see what was shrunken and such?
