i hope so. i want a bluetooth keyboard for my nextbook. also ill keep up on the calibration on the battery. seems to work for me. but i did it at a low battery level. so when i charge this overnight, ill calibrate it at 100% and see what that does

Watch it closely when done... you'll either see it charge above 100%, or you'll see it stay at 100% for a long time, then start dropping normally, but when it gets to somewhere between 20 and 30 % it will run out of power because it's actually at zero...

As I mentioned a few posts back... I think there is a bug in the way Android reads and/or reports the actual current battery level. The Google Nexus 7 has had the same problem since Android 4.2 and it has never been fixed.

Not so much... The Nexus 7 has much better hardware, but in regard to the battery issue, the Nexus 7 suffers from the exact same symptoms.

The partition map is defined in the parameter file in a ROM package and can be modified with a text editor...

As I've noted many times before, I've already modified mine, but installing the new parameter file is currently not very simple to do. I'll release some ROMs with various partition sizes as soon as I can make them easier to install.

Nope... never had a Nexus.

I've had some HTC and Samsung phones, but all of my development work so far has been on Amlogic and Rockchip based devices.

good news. the battery calibration did work. but only for standby time. usually the tablet would have cut off by now within an hour on 10% energy. its still running which is good.
