Hello,
I have the Mini M8s II box, running stock firmware.
As I have trouble with passthrough DTS on Kodi, I want to test this ROM.
I have few questions:
- do I need specific material (USB cable)?
- the UNZIP to SD Rom will do the job?
what is the difference between the 2 methods and why choosing one method vs the other?
- how can I flash back to stock ROM ?

Please read what i wrote: Flash with Amlogic_USB_burning_tool_2.0.8 or BootcardMaker v2.0.0.2 if you want to use sd method (guide)

You can't brick your device, but you can if you do stupid wrong things, but for me the safest method is the first and with a USB male to male cable.
Anyway backing up your rom with TWRP it's always a good idea.

I will not reply anymore to such questions, sorry, i don't want to be rude to anyone, but on this forum and on this thread you can find any knowlegde you need, and i and many users replied so many times to the same question.

With the final? the problem should be fixed two test versions ago, let me know, because i never got that error and it's random sometimes comes sometimes not 2 on 9 testers got it, then i try and fix a none reported that error again.
Just to understand better, and eventually discover the culprit which is your system language? Which version you flashed (wifi chip)

So, with trial and error test I found that to solve Netflix error 0013 without disabling bootvideo you have to delete/rename libwvdrmengine.so in system/vendor/lib/mediadrm.
I don't know if this change can have conflict with another apps

Xannytech First of all thanks for the hard work again, i was really looking forward to this final rom, and it really looks awesome! I was really happy to see the button to close all running applications at once. After installing the rom i wanted to download an apk file with the built in Chrome browser, but i am getting the error message: download failed due to missing SD card. In the previous version i didn't have this issue, so what did you change that is causing this?

Edit: The fix is easy though, go into android settings - apps - Chrome - permissions. Turn of storage permissions, and turn it back on. Then restart Chrome and enjoy downloading
