Great work on this guys! This is my first time on the site but if this is the quality of work i can expect I will definitely be a regular visitor! I have a Ugoos UM2 stick which I understand uses the 3188. If I upload my recovery image would you still be willing to make me a CWM? That would be incredible. Thanks so much!

                Problems

I followed the method without a PC on my rooted UG007b. Everything seemd to work fine and I am now able to boot into CWM. However it doesn't seem to work properly; when it first boots it says at the bottom:

                Can't find misc
                Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
                Can't find misc
                Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
                Can't open /cache/recovery/log

The very bottom of my screen is cut off because the TV I'm using has some sort of annoying problem correctly communicating its aspect ratio to any device whatsoever over HDMI, so I'm not sure if the following appears at boot or only after I try to backup to external sd, but after that I find:

                Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log
                Can't open /cache/recovery/last_log
                Can't find misc

And upon trying to backup I also get:

                SDCard space free: 7576MB
                Backing up boot image...
Error while backing up boot image!

, which I'm assuming is related to the inability to access apparently anything at all that should be in the cache. The backup process fails and results in an empty backup folder. I'm trying to figure out what's gone wrong, and I'll try the PC-based method later if nothing else works, but please let me know (since others on UG007b may get the same problem?) if you have any idea what may be the matter and how it might be fixed . Thanks!

Edit: Upon going into /cache/recovery in a terminal and listing all contents, I find that it contains only two apparently empty files: last_install and last_log.

There is a lot of people with this problem, and I dont know why it is, seems a bad misc.img? cache partiton is bad formatted? really I dont know.
Before the cwm was installed can you boot in your stock recovery? This problem only affect some devices with some roms, and I cant figure what is wrong

Yes, the stock recovery worked before. It seems very bizarre. How can I mount cwm-recovery.img in the terminal to have a look around inside it? Maybe it's an issue there? The "can't find misc" message seems the most important--and the weirdest thing is the "Can't mount /cache/recovery/last_log" bit, because this file definitely exists on the filesystem. So perhaps it's having trouble mounting the disk itself in the first place?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a remote control app that will allow control of cwm recovery? Or does it have to be a USB remote? My tsm01 is not compatible.

And yes all of them have his own usb adaptor.
