I'm studying the iFive firmware to see where they have placed those changes. I will try to port that feature into the Pipo ROM's as I can. This may take a while, so be patient...I'm at a baseball tournament with my son out of town this weekend.

Thanks for the request...I agree it would make a positive change in my Pipo ROM's.

Another thing I'd like to ask is how can I choose the size of the memory for apps. Thank you everyone
the default resolution is retina (2048x1536).
The app storage space can be changed using the file "parameter.img" on RileyRom. On that rom are included many parameter files from 2Gb to 12Gb.

It's not diffucult: it depends on how is lucky your specific CPU. The only way to know this is to try the different kernels and see which is stable for you!

Thanks for that link...I hadn't looked at the Pipo site today.

I will put together a new JB ROM with this update.

Again a useless (in my opinion) Jelly bean release from Pipo!

Yeah I agree. I wish they would put those resources into adding some features and finalizing a kitkat release. What we have now is stable, but pretty bland.

I've downloaded and unzipped the file. Looks like (by the file name), they've updated GPS somehow.

I will go ahead and make a ROM with it. I'll call it 2.0JB.

                    gaming on kitkat

First, thank you so much for these roms. Without them i would have a useless tablet.
Im a new owner of a pipo m6 pro. The stock firmware 4.2.2 was a disaster, lagging in every possible way.
I then installed rileyrom 1.8 and was very happy to see my tablet working fine. Speakers didnt sound imbalanced, and tablet Very responsiv. Even got a antutu score on 21266 with claro kernel. Had no freezing or reboots.
Only problems was somtimes after sleep it wouldnt wake up, and the tablet had to boot.
And I also had problems with games lagging a lot. Subway surfers and pinball arcade was unplayable. Tried both on dalvik and ART. And with the kernel that comes with rr 1.8 and claro.
Now i have flashed rr 1.9 jb and games are running fine with not much lag but the tablet seems not so responsive as it did on kitkat. Also speakers almost sound as mono.
Do you guys also have lag when you play these games on rr 1.8?

Dears, Could you please check the link provided by Anna?
                      Dear Anna,

Could you please let me know , if PIPO has any plans to release KitKat firmware for PIPO M6 MaX Pro?

For M6, we don't have the plan.

For M6 pro, here is the link of the 4.4 firmware version.
                      Best regards,
                      Anna

So I Installed this game The Sims Freeplay yet whenever I open it, it always says

"SERVER ERROR : A server error has occurred. Please visit www.eamobile.com/countrygate to choose your country and click the customer support link. (5002)"

I research about it on the internet they said that its a problem with the resolution something.
anyone who could help me with this?

                          Thanks!

Did you try my "GPS_1.2" Versions? They are based on maakie kernels and have reduced voltages to save battery.
