No, DRM keys are factory flashed and this box only ships with Widevine L3 so L1 apps wont work.


This includes TV versions of:

Netflix
Amazon Prime
And more

Sideload non ATV versions if possible

Hello to everyone!!

I have a problem and I wonder if there is someone that can help me.
I've created the micro SD with the OS as the instructions said at the first post and I inserted it to my TV Box but it never went into recovery, instead it booted normally into my current OS.

The following steps from the instructions never happened to me when I insert the micro SD card in my Amlogic device and power it on:

1. You will be able to enter into recovery and the firmware will be flashed automatically.
2. When the TV BOX reboots
3. Remove the micro SD Card, this step is very important, wait 4-5 minutes and the update will completed.

I don't know what I did wrong.
Is there a specific way to boot my device from microSD?

No I have not defined scancodes, I have just used an example you posted. I'll try to explain the problem as I can see it. I use LeanKey keybord - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...keyboard&hl=en Once it is displayed on the screen it has one key selected (letter t bu default). So pressing ENTER on usb keyboard or pressing pad center on a box remote just adds this letter to the input. It is different for leanback keyboard (from firmware) or with xperia keyboard.

And what about powering off usb on suspend? Will it be enabled in the kernel/firmware? I'll adjust my script for it- but it is a temporary solution.

hi !
to update from a SD card, you have to insert the SD card, put a paper clip in the reset hole on the bottom of the box, to push a bit till you feel a "click", to hold it pushed and then plug the power plug on without releasing the pressure on the paper clip. you can ask your wife/gf/mom/father/milkman/callgirl/anyone handy around to help you for that step.

when the message " installing update" appears, you can release the paper clip and let the update install.

any way is fine, as it s a nice piece of work, but OTA would be nice, if you can
