Hey superceleron, does this ROM have ext4 support for external devices such as an external hdd?

I have an external 4tb 3.5" hdd formatted as ext4 on a USB case that always worked fine on my RaspberryPi, just installed your ROM yesterday on my H96+ but it keeps saying it's unsupported, only gives me the option to format it.

Rooted it with Magisk and can open a terminal and mount it manually, it will see the files and all but only on the terminal itself, the other apps cannot see the contents. Also tried a few mount apps (stickmount, UMS) to no avail.

Played a bit with ownership and changed it to media_rw:media_rw but no dice... and anyway, doing this manually shouldn't be the right way to do it, the system recognize ext4 would be the proper way.

Don't have a lot of Android-specific experience to mess with ext4 support for external devices so I'm not sure what to do... I saw in one of your other posts regarding SCV3 for DDR3 boxes and it says "ext4 support", that's why I ask if this one also has it.

It's weird because the system itself is ext4, doesn't make any sense to don't have ext4 support for external devices... it recognizes as "NORELSYS" which is the USB hardware of the case itself, which is a ORICO 3588US3 case.

    Thanks.

No sorry i still dint implemented it on this one it was planed in a future build.. but im so full of work that i still dint had the time to mess with it!

superceleron Aw that's unfortunate... been all day trying to get it working but ran out of ideas... is it too hard to implement? If not and you could give me directions I'd do it myself, been all day looking for a way to do it because I really need it but couldn't find useful info anywhere, only outdated stuff. Can I bribe you with some beer? Just sent you some :P

I spotted something odd yesterday, my boxes don't seem to be able to see 5G networks on the latest build (I normally run them cabled which is why I hadn't spotted before). Any ideas why?

It's built especially for TV, so in theory it should be better on Box like H96, but practically a lot of Apps are still incompatible with it. To many, at least for me.
Other than that it's same Android with different Launcher (and almost no way of changing it on stock) and setup more for stationary device, than for mobile one.

Fair enough. Should have realised it was due to a new router. Thanks Superceleron.
The lowest channel I can get to is 36 but it still isn't showing up, is there an known good channel?

              Thanks again.

Use update app. Or turn off the Box, disconnect the cord, use pin to push reset button, while pushing connect the cord back, still keep pushing till You see TWRP logo (first there will be boot logo, than TWRP will start). At TWRP logo You can stop pushing.

@ch3mn3y Thanks. After installing the SCV1 & the SCV4 update, I'm still not able to get any video at all in the YoutubeTV ATV app except for commercials and Youtube Red content. This wasn't really unexpected, just thought I'd give an update in case anyone else wants to know. The mobile YoutubeTV app does play video in 480p. I'm pretty sure this is all because of the lack of Widevine L1 support. I have a MeCool M8S Pro coming because it does have Widevine L1.

How to check video resolution in ATV YouTube? All I found is [HD] sign and for my eyes it's at least 720p if not 1080p. However I'm using Normal Android superceleron's Rom, not ATV one (YT TV app works fine).
