There is an app called HDMI State something or other in freak tab that does this and works for other tv boxes and apparently they can play hdmi blocked apps and still output to screen even though set to state 0, but it doesn't work for the X7.

i uploaded new kernel which now hides the hdmi state. Could you please test if it works for you and if there's any regression in hdmi.
Thanks

Would my information be usefull aswell?
Also, any clue why there is no audio manager in kitkat? I've tried looking it up on Google but I see it nowhere that people are missing it out of their rom.
Did RockChip remove it for some reason? And if so, would the files from the 4.2.2 rom work?

2. no, 4.4.2 sdk is for tablet and doesn't have audio manager. It's still needed to add

Try this APP which has worked for some on hiding HDMI to apps.
"Forgive them as they know not what they do"

Hi.
Thanks a lot for this ROM, there are a number of features in 4.4.2 that I want to use on my X7. One major issue I am having is that I am unable to get it to present itself to my computer over adb.
On other ROM's this is done through an option that they have added into the android settings.
I am not too clued up on how that works behind the scenes and thus can't implement it myself. Do you have any idea (or know how to find out) what needs to be done to either create this option or have this enable by default?
Thanks.

awesome!
i tried v .92 with stock kernel and had issues that was mentioned before like white bars during boot and restarts/shutdowns. with oc kernel (kernel-minix-x7-160114), everything is really smooth and fast. excellent work wasser and everyone who worked on this rom.
one thing i noticed rightaway is that my IR remote is not working, eventhough it says ir-remote issue is fixed in this kernel. I used stock remote (minix x7 remote) as well as my harmony remote but none of the command works. is there any fix for making ir remote accept commands?
again, awesome work!
