Download kernels, rename the 1 you would like to install to neo. Make sure it is in your download folder. Install terminal emulator from play store then open it and type each line individually pressing enter, accept superuser request.

So it says on the Minix FAQ page that "MINIX Media Hubs for Android are compatible with external hard drives up to a maximum of 2.5TB"

Is that a physical limitation, or something that is firmware related?

And does Wasser 2.0.3 have the same 2.5TB limit?

Of course, you have to reboot your device, and check android information about your kernel (rom version, kernel version, compilation date...).
In case of OC kernel, you have too use an app to modify min/max frequencies... if you see 1800hz.... you have taken good direction ;-)

maybe you can check with another tv ? if you see same trouble ... change hdmi cable.... no other way.

Where can I find instructions on how to load the OC and other kernels.

I used RKtool for the ROM, no problem, it's just the kernels I'm not sure about.

Update with the Skype temporarily.
Wasser 2.03 +oc kernal
Skype only works when the MINIX device has done a fresh reboots. If it has been on for a few hours it stops working and does not connect.

I am having 2 issues.
1) my system lags a lot in 1080p - however its perfect in 720p - I tired both kernel.
2) i am connected via Ethernet however my speed is limited to 25-35 Mbps which is same as wireless sitting 5 inches away from the router. My service is 100 Mbps.

hi i have noticed lately that when listening through optical cable to my amp the sound drops breifly every now and then. i have tried the different sound settings and screen settings. happens in both kodi and youtube app. no problem when listening through hdmi to my tv. used to be ok i think, only happened in last week or so

i think i found my solution. when i have the sound passing through my tv then to the amp i dont have the sound drops. this must be how i used to use it. it only drops if i have the sound going direct to the amp from minix

the last update(2.03) is very fast for me
also and the wasser spmc mod version of yours(1.03) is very good(maybe the best for me)
although i have a little issue with the WifiDisplay.apk
when i extract the system.img i see the app in the app folder but this app is not installed
i also try to install it as application(WifiDisplay.apk) but also is not installed at the end
any help is appreciated!
