Thanks for suggestion, should have been more clear of what I'm trying to do. I am using TVLauncher and want to put a shortcut to settings as one of the tiles. Right now when I choose the settings icon it refreshes the screen and opens the side drawer. Not a huge issue just seeing if there's a way around this.

Hey , i have a firmware image of RikoMagic V5 , RK3288 prosessor . 4.4 Kitkat . This rom has a feature (button in navigation bar) to rotate the Android screen any way you want , just like you can do with your phone .
Is anyone interested to port this firmware for H96 PRO Plus ? or just implement the same feature in this rom by superceleron ?
I also have Lollipop Firmware image.

I did install Antutu today and was surprised by the results. I have seen S912 boxes typically scoring around 40 - 42.000, or below that.
After install I did force close all running apps and did the first test.
Score: 56105
I then rebooted and ran Antutu again (without closing any apps)
Score: 55686
Details
CPU: 35208
GPU: 11868
UX: 15599
RAM: 3011
I never did any tests with the old firmware, so I have no personal references to this score.
If this rom really is THAT much faster, then I must say I'm impressed.
I notice that the Antutu at play store now is version 7, and the other tests I've seen was with older versions. But unless the Antutu team made a blunder here, they should score similar as previous versions.
If anyone have an un-upgraded box, It would be interesting to know what Antutu 7 shows.

It may be the version. Once in a while they change the "rules" and scores are "better" (meaning higher) on the same devices and OSes.
However it may be as well the OC of CPU and GPU. It's significant for the total score.ALFAWISE H96 Pro+ 3/32 (S32-V6) | 7.1.2 | SCV7A | OC kernel | TWRP 3.1.1-0 | 64GB

Hi ReaperMan and others,
My apologies for not replying sooner. I was waiting for a new SD card to arrive (to confirm that wasn't the issue).
I have now tried to install the "GREEN PCB SCV4 IMG 7.1.2" image, using the detailed instructions provided by "TheBloke" in this forum.
Sadly, this did not work. At first it shows the upgrading screen and the progress bar moves ... but it eventually freezes.
I have included a photo of my PCB, a photo of the frozen upgrading screen, and another photo of the frozen splash screen.
If there's any other information I can provide, please let me know.
I promise I will be more attentive and respond to you straight away.
Cheers

If you baught this box from gearbest https://www.gearbest.com/tv-box-mini-pc/pp_503488.html
then you might try the firmware gearbest have posted for it:
On the same page you will also find the android 6.0 version firmware
I did use that 7.1 firmware posted there on my box before I updated to the supeceleron rom. But I did not follow the guide on that page, I did use the burn card maker to copy the firmware to microsd card and installed from the microsd card.

@ Reaperman,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I have attempted to use both a USB cable with USB_Burning_Tool_v2.0.8 and an SD card with Burn Card Maker 2.0.2.
Every time I have used the SD card with either the SCV4 or Gearbest's image, it seems to freeze on the 'upgrading' screen. (I have been ticking all options except "erase_bootloader").
When I use the USB cable, the burning tool seems to burn successfully with both images. However, when using the Gearbest's image, it seems to freeze on the 'MBOX' logo splash screen. And when using the SCV4 image, it also freezes on the initial splash screen.
I'm very puzzled. Maybe I'm selecting the incorrect options when using either USB or SD card?
Sorry for being a n00b

Thank you shod I'll give it a try.
And ReaperMan
I have managed to install the "SCV4 GREEN PCB IMG" via USB cable and USB_Burning_Tool.
However, now the loading animation freezes and it says "Google Services Framework has stopped".
Is this a common problem?
Once again, any help will be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks

You're probably right about the version. I just googled some results from Antutu 7 tests to compare with Antutu 6.
There was a test of the Asus Zenfone ZE520KL showed significantly higher results when tested with v7 vs v6.
First version 7 was the worst, it scored 153.689, then after a few revisions (v7.02, v 7.04) it got down to 76.750. Antutu 6 scores 62.205 on the same device.
I think this is a pity, because when you se references to antutu benchmarks they dont always name the Antutu version.
