I see new hardware from these Chinese OEM coming very soon with 8.0 as the selling point, they then forget about z6 like the others before it.
yes any trace of it
- can't see my gamepad in /proc/bus/input/devices
- can't insmod xpad.ko renamed to xpad2.ko : dmesg tells me xpad.ko already loaded (like before renaming)
-> Kernel patching is my only solution...
I just root with magesk or SuperSU then use ES File Explorer

Anyway, once rooted, it works (but I'm still asked to allow write permissions each time I want to write to SD, even it works without those permissions) and is not that crapy on Android TV.

I simply run rant antutu benchmark for curiosity after firmware installation. Probably my and others 706D version of GT1 have some different components that allow vorke firmware to run 3D. Some screenshots:You may only view thumbnails in this gallery. This gallery has 5 photos.5 Photos

Anyway can you run it on this rom and tell me if the refinery test completes more than once? this part of the test does not run on stock as its only OpenGL3.0
So your score should be around 55,000 on this
