    Hi, thx.
Can I disable the video hw acceleration by default on this rom if I have root access?

Nop unless you want to have problems, disable it in the player app you are using!

If someone wants to use Plex without audio/video decoding problems I suggesting to use PlexKodiConnect (not Plex for Kodi) with Kodi.

It will looks like Kodi but with the Plex videos. (movies and series are only shown in 2 folders )

HDMI-CEC is working like that the tv box is a tv.
E.g. if I turn my tv on the box turns on. (with normal android os it was the other way around)
But if I turn the box on the tv is not switching to the box hdmi port. (only after pushing the home button.)

Can this be solved or all android tv boxes are working this way?

Other question: Are there any solution/hack to use the tv box as a chromecast receiver?

That is the "normal" way of cec working on this boxes, is rare the one that work different, but yes some do work better, it all depends the custom work the company did on the stock aml sdk!
About Chromecast... dont get your hopes high, since it needs license's to work correctly ($$$), if someone hacked it dunno...

When it stops at 2%, push the reset button with pin.

I have V6 and both Normal and ATV flashed and work(ed) fine. Now I'm using Normal and it's amazing

Don't have WhatsApp. Just upload it to YT or maybe Zippyshare?

However I'm not sure what;s Your problem. Have same variant and it's OK. I think I read that someone had to push the reset button for whole flash. Maybe try it?

I have problems with this firmware now, and finally decided to switch back to my older box M8s MIIs edition with your similar firmware.

Problem is simply that most mkv's played have artefacts shown during playback, so video looks like a bad digital signal much too often during playback.

Any chance we will see a new update from 4A?

Only good playback results (no pixelation/blocky picture) if hw acceleration is turned off in Kodi.

Will look later (my classes starting in a moment), maybe I'll find something.

However one thing: I use Burning Tool v2.1.2 (as said on the titlebar) or v2.0.7.2 (as said in About->Help) - it's same app. Maybe try this version?

should a USB cable or SD card is sufficient?
Thank you in advance for your help
I used an SD card without a problem.
                            I've followed this instruction:

I didn't see anything on my TV screen during installation after booting up with reset pressed but after long minutes it rebooted with the new firmware. So I advice you to be patient and wait 10 minutes before thinking something went wrong.
